These tiles are worked out on their edges with hammer before being used to make roofs and need a hole to be fixed on the roof with nails. The installation of these tiles can be done with a regular process, an irregular one or with rhombus process. This kind of roofs give a big esthetic impact and is particularly appropriate for mountain buildings.
